Example:
- If we choose the hotel’s meeting package, we will get more bank for our buck.
- I don’t think we get much bank for our buck when we buy a cheaper printer cartridges, the quality is not that good.
English: put up money for something

Put up money for something means to pay money in advance.
Example:
- If you are starting a new business you need to put up money for equipment.
- If the client will put up money, we can use more complex design.
